Must have a minimum two (2) years of design experience in the consulting engineering industry. Candidate will be responsible for technical performance as well as knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Must have the ability to apply techniques, modifications and theories and have the ability to make decisions independently while still utilizing guidance from other engineers and project managers. Essential Job Responsibilities
Design mechanical systems for commercial buildings (project size will vary based upon experience).
Understanding of airside and waterside systems
Takes ownership of production/design on portions of systems
Performs calculations & code research
Coordinates with internal team members and external clients
Coordinates with external team members such as owners, architects, sub consultants
Participates in meetings with clients/owners
Conducts periodic job site observations
Skills
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD, BlueBeam and REVIT software
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work collaboratively with others
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the MEP industry
Registration as an EIT (or goal to obtain within the first year of employment)
Must be authorized to work in the United States

A salary range is anticipated to be within a range $73,000 - $88,000 for a minimum of two years of experience and is based upon multiple factors including level of experience, years of experience, professional registrations and applicant knowledge, skills, and abilities. Benefits include insurance benefits, paid holidays, and paid time off as well as a company sponsored 401k plan.
